- LOOMS - small, re-useable, cardboard 'ready warped' looms 14.5 x 22 cms.
- WARPING yarns - continuous lengths of 10-30m (the looms require approximately 9m of warp yarn).
- WEFT WEAVING yarns - continuous 5- 10m lengths wound onto cards, cut as needed.

DETAILS for 'MAKE IT YOURSELF' WEAVING KITS
Folly Flora's 'Make It Yourself' Weaving Kits are ideal for adult beginners, new to the craft of simple loom weaving. A starting point to learn the basics and gain confidence to tackle more elaborate projects on upgraded 'fancier' looms using free form and complex weaving patterns.
- The kits introduce you to basic weaving techniques on a small, simple cardboard 'weaving loom' via written instructions and line diagrams.
- Illustrated step by step details will also be available on the Folly Flora website.
- The starter kits in the collection are simple 'Weave a Sampler' (a small woven wall hanging or a panel to make into a small bag) using yarns with mixed fibre contents in many colours, thicknesses and textures.
- Other kits in the series introduce other materials - ribbons, fabric strips, trims, beads, buttons, charms, pom-poms, tassels, feathers and more!
KIT CONTENTS INCLUDE:
- Yarns for WEFT and WARP for 2 samplers
- Written instructions with line diagrams
- Link to illustrated step by step instructions on the Folly Flora website
- Cardboard 'loom' with serrated edges 14.5cms X 22cms, ready warped to get you started
- Bundle of yarns or continuous cotton/mixed fibres length for the WARP on your second sampler
- Selection of Folly Flora yarns - in various colourways, thicknesses and textures for the WEFT
- Embellishments (if specified in the Kit product details) eg beads, ribbons, charms etc
- Plastic needle with large eye, plus handy hairgrip making an alternative needle!
- Woven panel Small Bag Kit also contains fabrics, buttons, cord loops.
NOT INCLUDED in the KIT (may be required)
- Scissors, tape measure
- Fine sewing needle and thread for adding embellishments to the weaving
- Sewing machine (for sewing the bag - or may be hand stitched if preferred).
