Yarn Tassel Garlands, Cotton Fabric Bunting and Textile, Ribbon and Fabric Garlands are a versatile and simple way to brighten many areas within the home and garden. They can be reused year on year if carefully folded, packaged and stored for the next time they are needed.

USES for TASSEL GARLANDS,  FABRIC BUNTING & TEXTILE, RIBBON & FABRIC STRIP GARLANDS    

Pretty garlands and bunting are so versatile they can be used to brighten many areas within the home, garden and exterior buildings. N.B. They will have a shortened lifetime if exposed to the elements of sun, wind and rain and should only be used for a limited time outside in the garden.

Interior fun decoration - use for for birthday parties, special celebrations, Christmas and Easter festivities, graduation parties, retirement and leaving parties, baby shower, engagement party, bridal shower, skirt round the party table, friends get togethers, social functions. 

Interior decoration for bedrooms, bed headboard dressing, porch dressing, doorways, alcoves, corners, dresser shelves, window pelmet, window dressing, mantlepiece garland, playrooms and family rooms..

Bunting and garland fabrics, ties and supporting tapes will fade and deteriorate after prolonged and repeated exposure to UV light, wind and rain. They should only to be used outside for limited periods (few days not weeks) if you want to maintain the components in good condition for the following year.

COLOURS of FABRIC BUNTING & GARLANDS

I have tried to represent the colours of the fabrics as accurately as possible by photographing in natural light. The colours shown on your screen cannot be guaranteed, computer screens and monitors vary and may display colours slightly differently.

'MAKE IT YOURSELF' KIT CONTENTS & PACKAGING

The Folly Flora Kits are simply packaged in a cellophane wrap, no fancy printed bags or boxes, to keep costs economical and save using valuable resources for unnecessary packaging.

N.B. CAUTION The Kits and instructions are intended for Adult Crafters only. Please keep the kit contents and packaging away from babies and small children. The kits MAY contain many small parts eg beads, buttons which may present a choking hazard and tapes/ribbons an entanglement hazard to babies and young children.

Kits contain all the materials to make the items as shown in the images and full written instructions with line drawings and diagrams. Also required but not included are scissors, needle and cotton thread, pins.

Some kits may also require thick PVA glue or similar (not provided).

WASHING & CARE INSTRUCTIONS BUNTING & YARN GARLANDS

N.B. Before washing it is suggested that the bunting flags or the garland tassels are loosely placed in order in a pile and tethered together through the support tape (for tassels) or fabric (for bunting) with basting stitches using cotton thread. This will stop the tape, tassels and/or flags becoming tangled!
Hand wash in cool water with mild detergent and drip dry on a washing line or support (safest option to avoid tangling for both especially yarn tassel garlands).
Or for fabric bunting only - cool machine wash, (place tethered bunting inside old pillow case or similar), gentle spin only, pull flags to shape and hang to dry in open air. Iron on medium heat only if necessary.

PLEASE NOTE - the textile, ribbon, fabric strips garlands with multiple embellishments cannot be washed safely without causing damage and tangling. Simply shake gently outside to dislodge dust at intervals.

SAFETY PRECAUTIONS

PLEASE NOTE - The garlands and bunting are for decorative display purposes only, they are not toys and should be hung well out of reach of babies and young children.

Decide where the bunting or garland is to be displayed and provide secure hanging supports. DO NOT use ceiling light fittings or wall light fitments as securing or hanging points.

Please tether the looped ends to the secure supports and keep loose end tapes/ties short and well out of reach of tiny hands, and, if present in the household, playful animals such as kittens, cats and puppies.
KEEP AWAY FROM FIRE - Please take care when choosing a site for hanging the lengths of garlands and bunting. Ensure the end ties are kept short, garland and bunting components are hanging well away from open fires, wood/multifuel stoves, candle flames, naked flames and heat sources.
