I would like you to be pleased with your purchase, so please ensure you read the descriptions, information and policies to be clear what you are buying.
Items for sale are sold 'as seen' in the photographs. Any props in the image are not included in the listing price and are for illustration purposes only. I generally wait a minimum 24 hours before posting in case you need to cancel or change your order.

Full payment is required before your order is accepted and dispatched.

It is your responsibility to ensure that the information you provide with your full postal address and correct post code is accurate. Please check all details before placing your order. If an address does not look quite right or incomplete I may contact you to verify before posting your order.  Thank you.

PAYMENT

Folly Flora accepts payments via Stripe or Bank Transfer in GBP - British Pound Sterling.

Sorry I do not accept cheques or cash payments.

STRIPE -  Stripe is a safe and easy way of ensuring you are using a trusted and secure electronic payment gateway. Stripe accepts Debit and Credit Cards. It allows online shoppers to enter and store (if you choose) credit card and billing information in one place. You do not need a account with Stripe in order to make a purchase, and you can use your debit bank card when checking out if preferred. 

All payments and payment information are conducted on the payment provider's secure websites using the latest secure socket layer encryption.

PAYING with STRIPE - On the Payment page, select Stripe as your method of payment. You will be redirected away from Folly Flora's website to Stripe's website to confirm the financial details of the transaction. Once you confirm your payment via Stripe, you will be returned to Folly Flora. 

Orders placed using Stripe will be debited immediately.

NB. Folly Flora does not have access to or stores any of your card information, the payment process is conducted off site through Stripe Payments.

BANK TRANSFER - Alternatively if you wish to pay directly via online bank transfer please get in touch via the 'Contact' page to make the arrangements.

DELIVERY, POSTAGE & PACKAGING

  • DELIVERING to the UK only - excluding Northern Ireland * 
  • DELIVERY STANDARD CHARGE £3.95 for Orders £30 and under (up to Maximum parcel weight 2Kg)
  • NO MINIMUM ORDER VALUE

 * Regrettably excluding Northern Ireland due to the new GPSR issues effective from 13/12/2024.

The new rules and regulations imposed make selling and sending Folly Flora items to Northern Ireland prohibitory. Hopefully these may change in the future.

Exceptions to the 'Free and/or Delivery Standard Charge' are large or fragile items too difficult to package and deliver by post safely. These items will be clearly marked on their 'Product Details' page as 'By Collection in Person Only'. 

I use Royal Mail Second Class Large letter and Small/Medium Parcels categories to keep postal charges as economical as possible.

I try to keep packaging costs to a minimum by recycling clean outer packaging when available, please reuse and recycle it too.

Delivery will be generally be within 3-5 working days (the usual estimated Royal Mail delivery times) but this time scale cannot be guaranteed by either Royal Mail or Folly Flora, particularly at busy postal periods such as Christmas and during and after Royal Mail postal strike days.

Please Note - DELIVERY DELAYS & Royal Mail postal strike periods

During and after postal strikes there is likely to be continuing disruption of postal services in some areas. Please allow plenty of time for items to arrive.

Delays in delivery of your packet/parcel well beyond the Royal Mail estimated 3-5 days are highly likely.

Folly Flora and Royal Mail cannot guarantee the usual estimated delivery times.

Delays of up to and beyond 15 days may occur in some areas.

HOW to RETURN UNWANTED ITEMS NOT SUITABLE for YOUR REQUIREMENTS

You have 14 days from delivery to notify Folly Flora if you wish to cancel or return your order.

The cancellation/returns period of 14 days will start the moment the customer receives the order.

Please notify Folly Flora by email with the relevant order information or use the 'Returns Form' outlined below (copy and paste into an email) if you prefer.

Dispatch item back to Folly Flora within 30 days of delivery.

Buyers are responsible for all return shipping costs.

RETURNING UNWANTED ITEMS or CANCELLATION of ORDER

I hope buyers will be pleased with their purchase, however if you are in any way unhappy with your order, please let me know and I will try to rectify the problem. Or, if for any reason the item is not suitable for your requirements I am happy to refund, subject to the conditions outlined below.
Please return items intact and unused, still in their original protective coverings or cellophane wraps, with all tags and labels still attached.
To avoid items being damaged in the post I would recommend that you re-use the original packaging if it is still intact. If the item is not returned in its original resalable condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value and a partial refund will be given.
Buyers are responsible for all return shipping costs (except in cases where the item is faulty, damaged or not as described).
Please obtain a 'Proof of Postage/Certificate of Posting' from Royal Mail when you post the item (free from the post office counter staff when requested) or use an insured trackable method if you prefer.

UK law requires that I provide before order, a "Withdrawal or Cancellation form" for you to cancel your order. Please use this form if you find it helpful, but it is not necessary for you to use it.

REFUNDS

A refund will be issued within 14 days of Folly Flora receiving the returned item (as per the conditions set out in the 'RETURNS' section above) or evidence (a Proof of Posting/tracking from Royal Mail when you post the item) that the item at the original weight has been posted back.

Buyers are responsible for all return shipping costs.

Please remember to obtain a 'Proof of Postage/Certificate of Posting' (available free from the Post Office counter staff at time of posting) from Royal Mail or tracking details when you post the item.

The refund will be issued using the same means of payment used for the initial transaction, either by Stripe or Bank Transfer.

DAMAGED GOODS & PACKAGING

 IF CONTENTS ARRIVE DAMAGED?

I take care in packaging the items in your order to ensure that they hopefully arrive with you safely. 

However, in the event that your goods have arrived damaged please contact me within 24/48 hours of receipt via email.

If the damage is clear when the postman/postwoman delivers the parcel, please ask them to make a note of the extent of the breach in packaging/obvious damage in their details to help verify a claim for compensation.

They may offer to take the package back to the Royal Mail Sorting Depot or Post Office and 'Return to Sender' if the package has clearly been damaged in transit.

To assist me in processing a claim with Royal Mail I kindly request that you take photos of any damage to the outer packaging before you open it, the broken/damaged item in situ (if possible) and the broken/damaged product itself.

Please retain ALL the packaging and the damaged product, Royal Mail may require evidence of the damage during the claim procedure. These photos are needed to provide legal evidence of the damaged item/packaging. Without them I may not be able to make a valid compensation claim from the Royal Mail delivery service.

If I require the return of the damaged or defective goods I will refund you the cost of returning them, Please contact me first to discuss/authorise the return.

I would advise that you use a Royal Mail delivery service (Second Class Large Letter/Small Parcel) to return your goods. Please obtain a 'Proof of Postage/Certificate of Posting' (free from the post office counter staff) when returning goods, this will also be submitted to Royal Mail during the claim procedure.

The item or goods will be replaced or refunded following our email discussions and resolution.
