FABRIC BUNTING - READY MADE & 'DIY' KITS

Cotton and polycotton fabric themed bunting as decoration for birthday parties, family gatherings, garden parties, Wedding receptions, Christmas celebrations and Halloween. Bunting consists of triangular or rectangular flags or pennants regularly spaced along lengths of cotton tape with loops and ties at each end to secure the bunting to strong supports.

DETAILS for BUNTING - READY MADE & 'MAKE IT' KITS

LENGTHS of BUNTING & SIZES of FLAGS

The flags are either single fabric (decorative one side, use against a wall) or double layer fabric (decorative both sides).

The 'Product Details' list the distance between first and last flags as the 'Length', plus additional loops of tape for tying to the supports each side as 'loops'.

Number of flags per length is listed, the size of the flags across the top x length top to base/point.

eg. Nine double sided cotton flags, black cotton tape, Length 3m, Loops 25cms, Flags 20cms x 24cms.

'MAKE IT YOURSELF' KIT CONTENTS & PACKAGING

The Folly Flora Bunting Kits are simply packaged in a cellophane wrap, no fancy printed bags or boxes, to keep costs economical and save using valuable resources for unnecessary packaging.

N.B. CAUTION The Kits and instructions are intended for ADULT Crafters only.

Please keep the kit contents away from babies and small children, embellishments such as beads and tassels may present a choking hazard and the tape an entanglement risk.

Kits contain all the materials to make the items as shown in the product images and full written instructions with line drawings and diagrams. Also required but not included are scissors, needle and cotton thread, pins and a straight stitch sewing machine if opting to machine sew the flags.

USE & DISPLAYING the BUNTING LENGTHS

Use indoors as interior decoration for playrooms, family rooms, bedrooms, porches and hallways all year round. Avoid siting the bunting in direct sun or in sunny windows as the fabric colours may fade when exposed to UV rays for a length of time. Outside (temporary use only is advised) to decorate a gazebo, marquee, summerhouse, shed, conservatory or the garden for a party. The bunting will survive intact for short periods outside only, the bunting is not designed for long term exterior use. The fabrics are not resistant to the UV light, the colours may fade and the repeated effects of sun, wind and rain may ultimately damage the flags (pennants) of the bunting causing deterioration of the fabric fibres..

With careful use and dry storage the bunting can be reused and displayed year after year.

COLOURS of FABRIC BUNTING

I have tried to represent the colours of the fabrics as accurately as possible. The colours shown on your screen cannot be guaranteed, computer screens and monitors vary and may display colours slightly differently.

WASHING & CARE INSTRUCTIONS

NB. Before washing it is suggested that the flags are loosely placed in order in a pile and tethered together with long, loose basting stitches using cotton thread. This may help prevent the tape and flags becoming tangled!
Either hand wash in cool water with detergent and drip dry on a washing line or support (safest option to avoid tangling),
or LOW temperature machine wash, (place tethered bunting inside old pillow case or similar), very gentle spin only, pull or shake flags to shape and hang to dry in open air.
Iron on medium heat only if necessary.

SAFETY NOTICE - PLEASE NOTE
The bunting is for decorative display purposes only, it is not a toy and should be hung well out of reach of babies and young children.

Decide where the bunting or garland is to be displayed and provide secure hanging supports.

DO NOT use ceiling light fittings or wall light fitments as securing or hanging points.

Please tether the looped ends to the secure supports using strong ties, and keep loose end tapes/ties short and well out of reach of small children and babies, and if present in the household, playful animals such as kittens, cats and puppies.

KEEP AWAY FROM FIRE - Please ensure the end ties are short and the bunting is hanging well away from open fires, wood/multifuel stoves, candle flames, naked flames and heat sources.
