INFORMATION on COVERS, COSIES & JACKETS
FOR GLASS BEAKER STYLE CAFETIERES, COFFEE POTS & FRENCH PRESSES
Keep your coffee hotter for longer and linger over a second cup with an insulated cosy, cover or jacket around your coffee pot.
Apply the cover to the pot before making the coffee or CAREFULLY fit after filling the pot, making sure your fingers/hands do not come into contact with the hot glass beaker.
To prevent heat loss through the base it helps to stand the pot on an insulated mat like wood or cork.
Please note the cafetieres in the images are for illustration purposes only and are not included in the purchase price.

BEFORE ORDERING PLEASE CHECK DIMENSIONS of your CAFETIERE

These covers may not be a perfect fit for your make and model.
To check if a cover will fit, please take the dimensions of your cafetiere and compare them with the measurements given in the product details before purchase.
- Measure the circumference of the glass beaker of your coffee pot.
- Height from the base to the top of the beaker or lower rim of the lid.
- N.B. The cover will need to be a longer length than the beaker circumference, the insulation padding takes up a few cms
- N.B. The cover will generally be a generous height to fully insulate the glass at/above the rim/lid and cover the base to prevent cooling from below.
If you are unsure if a cover will fit your model please 'get in touch' and I will try to help.

MADE to MEASURE & CUSTOM ORDER
I am happy to make a cover to your size. One of my covers patterns has been specifically designed to be adjusted to fit 'non standard' sizes. Simply measure the circumference of your pot, and the height from the base to the top of the beaker or lower rim of the lid. The cost will be comparable to a listed cover of similar size and fabric content.
FABRIC CONTENTS of COVERS
- Outer cover - generally cotton 'rich' fabric
- Inner liner - cotton or polyester/cotton fabric.
- The tab (if present) is in matching fabrics.
- Layer of polyester wadding insulation enclosed in a polycotton liner.
- Loops with a cotton core and polyester outer cover.
- Black/or colour as specified plastic buttons to hold loops in position.
COLOURS of FABRIC COVERS
The fabric covers have been photographed in natural light and I have tried to represent the colours as accurately as possible. However the colours shown in the images cannot be guaranteed.
Computer screens and monitors may display the colours slightly differently.
